How often can a male ball python of weight breed?

Time wise I’m wondering how much down time a male ball python needs before he can effectively lock again?

I don’t think there is any time frame, though you also don’t want to breed your male to death. It can happen, so you’ll want to give him at least a few days off between pairings.

However, a female only needs 1 lock per month, so unless you’re breeding him to more than one female during a single season that shouldn’t be much of an issue. If you do pair a male to several females then you’ll want to make sure he gets plenty of rest between pairings.

@1hellyeah1 Once I observe a lock, that male get’s a meal and a week off minimum. If the male is not eating on a regular basis, I will give him much longer between pairings.
