I’ve got my collection on a 14 day schedule. With the exception my female’s stay at a 14 day schedule.
Adult males get a medium rat on a three week schedule.
As the snake gets bigger, the prey size increases, so does the days between feeding.
I have to add , hatchlings up to around a year commonly are on a 7 day schedule.
sounds reasonable! there’s so much different opinions/information about how often/much you should feed them at different weights and years this is my very first snake/reptile, still trying to get to grips understanding the age, weight, and feeding stuff
The way I knew when to increase the days between feedings is when the snake’s refuse to eat for no apparent reason, such as shed cycle. In my case I had multiple snakes refuse. That’s when I increased the days between feeding because I figured they were not hungry enough to eat yet.
I think the 10 day schedule is fine. If he’s feeding and not passing meals, stay with that until you need to increase prey size.
