I am going out of town in mid June for 3 weeks.
As the weather will be hot at that time and I am giving water by refilled bottles. I haven’t found a good way to keep the rats alive.
Could anyone share your experience on how to take care of the rats and keep them alive when you are out of town for a period?
With bottles, it will be almost impossible. The bottles only last a couple days. You need a water system. You can get the nipples for rabbits from Amazon and the tubing as well, or the tubing from lowes or home depo. Then anything that can hold evough water for the week. And some sort of spout to connect the tubing to the water source.
