I am worried about FedEx overnight shipping two Herman’s late.

The package spent a whole day in Minneapolis.

@deanaii I have a roommate who used to work in a FedEx dock. This was probably a scanning issue. Everyone would get a wrist mounted scanner to hit each package with. They had so many issues with other loaders not scanning in everything to the assigned truck. Part of why things just show up as “arrived in x facility” and then just suddenly show up at your door.

From the looks of it…
Basically everything was scanned in and loaded up for the dispatch…but because of the delays things were moved and set aside. They just never updated a scan to say it was held over.
Once things were ready to go they rescanned everything to the cargo load and it was actually sent off this time.

And hungry!
Good signs all around with that.

The hutch is so cute too! Hope they settle in well.

Awe they are adorable! Always had a soft spot for Tortoises even though my property isn’t quite suitable for them (my preference is Sulcatas)

Yay, so glad your tortoises made it safe and sound!:tada:

Most reptiles tolerate shipping delays just fine so long as they were packaged properly. Doesn’t make it any less nerve wracking, though.

They are thinking “First Class” Overnight Sucks! :joy::joy::joy:. They are adorable! I almost purchased a red foot but I opted for a couple of stellar mandarin leopard geckos that I am planning to breed next year……

So glad things worked out for you!!!
