I can’t remember my geckos morph

Hello!
I can’t exactly remember my leopard geckos morph. I got him from a breeder and I think they said he was a carrot tail but I don’t think so. I’m probably remembering wrong.
For some reason his color isn’t as vibrant as when I first got him. Anyways I don’t need this info for breeding or anything, I’m just curious.

Sorry if the pictures aren’t great, I’m not able to take pics of him rn

I’m sorry I can’t answer your question but as far as his color goes is he in the shed mode maybe? He’s a cutie!:+1::lizard:

Not a carrot tail. Looks like a hypo based on the number of spots on the back. Hypo is more of a polygenic trait so it’s not something that can reliably pass on to offspring.
Can’t really ID anything else. Cute and chunky little guy tho.

I agree with @armiyana - I’d call him a Hypo or possibly a Banded Normal. Fading of coloration with age is very common in many reptile species, leos included. It’s to be expected and definitely nothing to worry about.

I assumed it was from aging aswell. Thank you for your opinion on the morph aswell
