Is there a reason why you are doubting the seller?
Its definitely IMG, but hard to tell with Hypo due to the IMG.

Some outside pictures in overcast light would be helpful to see the hypo….definitely an IMG at least
Looks hypo IMG to me. Definitely see IMG, and the tail is more orange than I’d expect for an IMG without hypo, so I can believe this boa has hypo.

Need a few good tail pictures. It’s definitely a IMG and it looks hypo to me. Should get darker with every shed. Being hypo it will not get totally black with age. Is it a male or female? Either way it’s a nice looking boa congratulations.
Who did you buy it from? See if you can get pictures of the parents.
I like the head stripe to the first saddle.
Definitely IMG and I think hypo also. The saddle shape looks hypo to me. It’s pretty dark already for a hypo but they’re all different. Like other’s have said, some outdoor/natural lighting pictures should help.
Here are pictures of my IMG Hypos as juveniles for comparison.
I believe it is Hypo. But either way, it is gorgeous and unique looking.
