I just learned that some of my millipedes are UV reactive!

Not sure on the species, they are Appalachian mimic millipedes though. I have a UV LED flashlight that is pretty powerful.

There are a number of arthropods that fluoresce under UV. Makes for a lot of fun hunting critters at night with a UV flash

The main reason I got it was for scorpion hunting I haven’t found too many critters that light up but I take it with me whenever I’ll be out at night.
