Ah, that sucks man. Happens to the best of us though. I made a similar mistake once but instead of the bulb holder melting, it was the plastic rim to the enclosure that melted.

And ironically I was warned because my dad said as I was moving the bulb that’s not gonna work, 3 hours later I moved it again😂
