Id pretty sure hes a normal

Just curious i got this guy from a pet store and i belive hes a normal but for the life of me i cant tell the difference between him and the cinnamon i got from an expo they are very similar im new to MorphMarket and have only had him about a year and always thought of him as just a normal until now the one on the big log is the cinnamon for comparison

For starters, its best if you can provide multiple angle photos of your snakes in bright natural daylight for the best chance to get an ID.

I have suspicions for both snakes because neither appear to be Cinnamon, so feel free to post updated photos of both snakes.

Also without any genetics/lineage information the best we can do is guess unfortunately :woman_shrugging:
If they still can’t be ID’d you can go to RGI on Morphmarket and order shed tests.

The best I can give you is that niether are Cinnamon.

In the very first picture I can see how the BP can possibly be Pastel.

Otherwise I’d say both are Normals.

Thank you once i get some better pictures ill put them up they just ate last night so maybe they will be in a good mood in a couple days for a photo shoot at the very least maybe the expo cinnamon carries the gene and presents normal but ill have to test if thats the case i just know i looked at her and iron man and said they look a lot alike side by side  either way they are beutiful and in a few years i might try pairing her and the albino i have but knowing for sure what she is would be better if the expo mislabled her

Unfortunately not the case. Cinnamon is an Incomplete dominant gene, not a recessive gene. Unless your BP was a really, really low expression Cinnamon there wouldn’t be any Cinnamon babies if you bred it.
Again you can always test for Cinnamon through RGI and see if it is there.

Ill probly test her then when the time comes and find out for sure if better pictures dont help i want to test the albino to for enchi and possible pastel thats what he was sold as but when your white it makes id features kinda difficult ill put a picture of him on here just for giggles when i get the pictures of the other 2 thank you for your thoughts on it and clarrifying the gene i hadnt thought of breeding until i got the female as the other 2 were both male

Sorry it took a while to get more pictures weathers been rainy and when it wasnt i was working

So “Cinnamon” and “Iron-man” are Normals, as far as I can clearly see.

As far as “Flame” goes all I can say is they are obviously Albino, they look pretty interesting having no pattern. Not entirely sure what genes cause that…

Thank u ya with flame its ganna have to be a shed test but i figured as much with him since there is no pattern at all really and thats why i was so confused with iron man and cinnamon they sold her as cinnamon and iron man was a normal from a pet store but they looked so alike i questioned it maybe when they r both of breeding size and age ill do a test for her to confirm absolutely no chance of cinnamon babies but from her apperence wouldnt offspring also be extreamly low quality cinnamon sorry im not very good with the genetics part but breeding with an albino would be an interesting outcome anyway in my opinion im ganna deep dive breeding research when they r closer to being able to

If by chance your girl somehow ends up low expression cinnamon, each offspring would have a 50% chance of being cinnamon or normal. Breeding her with an albino would not produce anything visually albino as it is a recessive gene, meaning unless she’s het albino, all offspring would only be het.

Albino x Cinnamon = All offspring het albino, each has 50% chance of visual Cinnamon.
Albino x Normal = All offspring visually normal, het albino.

Thank u again for looking at them and answering questions heres to hoping that genetics tests in a year or 2 come back saying shes just low quality both of them r still pretty to me though and she has been pretty nice so far when im cleaning up her tank and handling her
