Hello,
I have only the one short tail but am curious regarding its sex. I’m not comfortable probing such a large individual solo so was curious if those of you with some experience might care to take an educated guess.

Used to breed sumatran blood but just an armchair guess. Female. Not a very thick tail with gradual tapering from vent to tip- not dramatic tapering half way down. Also the hooks don’t extend out of the pit. Males tend to get long enough to make it out of that pit and are less hooked.
