I was wondering does anyone have experience identifying Black Pastel in Bels?
Other than the black light trick, is there any way to determine a bel is carrying the black pastel gene other than breeding them
out?

What type of BEL do you have? Have you taken a black light to your snake yet?
I don’t actually own the BEL in question.
My good friend just produced a clutch with 3 BELS. He hit 1 black pastel, 2 mojave, 2 black pastel mojave and 3 BELS. So Id assume one of the BELS could carry black pastel but wasn’t sure of any other ways of checking for that.
He has not yet hit it with a black light. We will be picking up one soon to check.
