I trust i am posting this question on the right thread.
I have a pastel ball python female which i would like to have a shed test conducted on however, i am from South Africa and have never done this before so was wanting to reach out to anyone in South Africa who can tell me if i will require any special permissions, permits to post my snake shed to RGI (Rarer Genetics Incorporated) in the USA.
Any insight or helpful information in this regard will be most appreciated.

Hi. What gene are you wanting to test her for? If it’s pastel, you really don’t need to do a shed test, as if you share a picture of her we can verify whether she is pastel or not. If it’s another gene (like a recessive) that you want a shed verification on, I would recommend reaching out to RGI themselves on instagram, they may have already received sheds from South Africa and may have an idea if there are any special permits or paperwork required.
