Identifying enchi in pinstripes

I have my first clutch of ball pythons coming soon, very excited btw. The pairing is an enchi pinstripe x lesser. I was looking for some tips on identifying enchi pinstripe and enchi pinstripe lesser combos. After looking at every listing, I can not tell the difference between one with enchi and one without. Thanks for any insight!

The pattern is different and I bet once they are out and shed you will see the difference next to each other. Enchi does tend to change the head stamp/eye stripes and the pattern is generally different because pinstripe usually has a distinct stripe with pinstripes on the sides and Enchi should disrupt that.

I did notice that some of them are quite obvious but it’s the subtle differences that I’m not really able to pick up on. The kingpin enchi seems more variable also.

Once they have shed out and gotten a meal into them, take some good pics and post them up and we will help you with ID.

This was the only pinstripe of the clutch. I’m pretty confident it’s only pinstripe lesser.

Couple months late but to address the original question, enchi pin pattern while very variable, is very different. Here are some enchi pins from a super enchi albino x pinstripe. I do love that lesser pins dorsal stripe tho.

Those 2 I can definitely see the enchi. The father to my clutch just doesn’t look enchi at all. If I hadn’t gotten 1 enchi and 1 lesser enchi from him I would think I was ripped off lol. Just a very low expression I guess.

That’s 4 different animals, but yeah enchi can be very variable. Glad you didn’t get ripped off lol
