Hi I bought this girl at a reptile expo in Japan. I know she’s part jaguar but I’m wondering what else is in her. Does she have jungle or is it tiger. I’m also curious about how much she’d cost just out of curiosity if I got a good deal on her. I’ll post pics with different lighting and thanks for any help.

Very nice carpet python you have there I love the pattern on it. I am sorry I don’t know anything about carpet python morphs so I am no help. But it’s nice to see, it look like you have a tame and beautiful pet that you will have for years to come.

Thank you, it’s funny my son in the photo was scared when I first got a young ball python and now he’s totally relaxed

Unless you received lineage information directly from the breeder there is really no way of knowing anything about the genetics of your animal aside from the very obvious (i.e, Jag). Depending on who you talk to, Jungle is a separate species or a polygenic trait (given the info in the most recent Complete Carpet, I lean toward the latter). I do not see anything in your animal that would make me think Jungle is there. Likewise, Tiger is polygenic with multiple different lines. I will say that your animal does not have the bald back that is most characteristic of the Tiger trait
As far as price goes… I am not sure what the Japan market looks like. In the US, an adult Jag of unknown lineage might run you $400-600 or so at a show, at a guess (have not really paid attention to carpets at shows because I am not looking to pic one up)
