Really cool app which lets you upload photos of observations of plants and animals. Great for the amateur field herper. Shows where observations have taken place on a map. View wildlife which has been seen nearby.

Plus one for iNaturalist. I love this app. It’s useful for getting proper identifications of just about anything alive you need to know. I like to see what animals have been found near me when I’m at home and when I’m traveling on vacation or someplace new.

Agreed. Fun app/site. The “Projects” tab is great for organizing/tracking a BioBlitz.
How successful have people been when using this as a means to identify potential herp locations? I asked on local FB groups about good spots to look and the only reply I got was to just use this.
