About to pull the trigger on this stunning Hypo Indy neonate, just wanted confirmation from someone more clued up on the morph than I myself am as they are extremely rare where I am from.
Here is a screenshot from a video I was sent, the breeder is reputable and there are other variations of the indy gene in the full video.
I am sorry I don’t know enough about the Indy boa to give you a good opinion. But I know the Indy boas reminded me alot of the motley and jungle boa look. I don’t see that look in this boa.
I do agree with you, which is why I made this post.
However, looking at a lot of the indy boas that Boa Line has produced I do see a lot of similarities with this girl. And I know for a fact this breeder has imported indy boas imported from Boa Line in Italy. He was also the original importer of the Amber’s in my other post.
Also looking at some of the Indys on MM calculator there are quite a few similarities.
It’s a massive financial decision as I am trying to make a fantastic breeding group whilst having a hard cap of 4 adults at this time. Wife is being stern about it (I wear the pants in the house, when she let’s me) and we also stay in company provided housing and this is the cap they’ve set.
Well if you are buying from a reputable breeder you should be getting what they say it is. If not they would have a bad reputation quickly.
Wish you the best of luck with all your breeding and I look forward to seeing what you produce in the years to come.
Glad I own my home so no one can say what I can have here. Providing my wife is ok with it. Good thing she likes boas a little. When I first got married many many years ago I only had one boa. Now I keep about 35 to 40.
That’s the dream. But we live inside of a national park about 2 hours from the nearest town, so even if we were to open a facility there but would be pointless.
That is very cool and scary that you live with hyenas. I remember watching a documentary with some guy in africa that took care of hyenas, and they treated him like part of the pack. I have always like hyenas and wolf’s. Many years ago I had the opportunity to buy some baby wolf’s and a grizzly bear cub. Almost did but I knew I could not afford to care for them properly.
