I’m looking to set up 3 new enclosures soon. 2 18x18x18’s (each with one nozzle) and 1 18x18x36 (with 2 nozzles, one on each side)
What’s the best way to not ruin the top to make a hole for my spray nozzle? There’s no precut slot to run the water hose through, and there’s small little spaces for power cords in the back, but the background would cause a problem with running the water line through there….
Do people just cut small holes in the wire mesh and use the nozzle screwed through the hole? Is there concern for support and the wire mesh getting messed up over time?
You can get corner wedges made for mistkings (is that what you are getting?). They are screwed into the frame then you just poke a hole for where the nozzles. It is the best way to create the most minimum amount of damage to the screen.
Mistking is next on my list to get. Right now I’ve got 3-4 smaller misting systems that can support 2-3 nozzles each. Long term I want mist king. I suppose I could check the nozzle size and see if the hole compares.
Essentially it’s still just cutting a hole in the screen, but doing it in a manner that prevents the screen from sagging or tearing over time? Seems convenient
