Hi all!
I recently attended a small Reptile Expo just outside of Vancouver, BC and was suggested to check out MorphMarket for info. I’m looking to get my first snake sometime later this year, or after the New Year. I went from having a massive phobia almost all my life to loving (slightly obsessing) all snakes - unintentional exposure therapy worked! Of course only some make good pets, and certain ones are better for first-timers which brings me here - to learn! I want to feel as prepared and knowledgable beforehand…some might call that being responsible?
I’m fairly certain I’ll be going with a male ball python. It would be great to see it in person (happy to travel to mainland BC to a local breeder). Don’t think I’m too picky on a particular morph - I’d rather just have one who’s comfortable with me. Hoping to gain some insight, tips and pre-purchase knowledge. Thanks!
