Is this a unique trait to have iridescence in the black stripe from the eyes and the black circle on the head (See photos)? Is this bullsnake an Axanthic morph?
I found this baby bullsnake in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California.

Interesting pics. Is the iridescence confined to that narrow area rather than being on the whole face ? I see it quite a bit on corn snakes, generally over the whole of the upper face/head.
