I am not a ball python person, but I love the look of this one. This ball is a living piece of art. Hope it keeps its color into adulthood.

I dont have a good read, but the pictures, while beautiful apppear to be heavily doctored/saturated. An ID would likely be mucv easier under natural light with no editing if possible. You can see even the hand appears be be taking on yellow hues, so this does not appear to be natural.

All of that said, gorgeous looking snake and the editing was masterfully done to bring the snakes colors out! Fantastic photography

Editing to add: young snakes colors tend to really pop, so I could be wrong about it being enhanced, and if so, double dang thats a nice animal xD

My best guess as to natural coloring, still a fantastic animal!

I found this one on an instagram page but the poster has blatantly refused to acknowledge anyone’s comments as to what the combo is unfortunately. It’s absolutely gorgeous so I brought the photos here to hopefully find some guesses :joy: The poster does claim to be a snake photographer so the editing does make sense

This is likely because giving you the morphs would expose how doctored the photo is. The snake itself is from New England Reptile. Edited to add: It’s also likely it’s a morph in development, which is also why the secrecy.

These are definitely very oversaturated photos. I imagine the snake actually looks like this than in those photos but with the purples being a bit more grey:

My best guess for morph is Pastel Enchi Leopard Ivory just based off of photos

I don’t know anything about ball python morphs, but my buddy John thinks it could be an Enchi champagne leopard, maybe.

Here are his Enchi’s I like his first one the best.

Pastle Enchi desert ghost clown.
If this one stayed this color, I could see myself get a ball python.

Bang Enchi clown

Bang Enchi spotnose clown

Sometimes new baby bananas can have ridiculous color.

Oh haha i didn’t see you already edited the colors to how they’d more likely be. My bad

I love baby banana color… and adult banana color . If i ever got a bp it would probably be some sort of banana

All good, its not like i’m an all knowing expert, your guess is equally as valid as my own xD

It’s an Enchi Leopard Ivory combo of some sort. That photo is enhanced though so they don’t look quite that insane. I don’t even need to see the original post to know that’s Tara from NERD all of her photos are edited.

I find it so irritating when people enhance photos like that. These animals are beautiful enough on their own, plus it just feels deliberately misleading in some cases. I would love to know what this snake looks like without being edited. (Thanks to those who attempted to “de-edit” the picture.)

Nothing inherently wrong with playing around with photo editing for fun, but at least disclose that the photo is edited if you’re going to post it publicly (to be fair, this person may well have done so, I didn’t see the original post).

Isn’t the op the first one in this thread?

I think they meant the original poster of the photos themselves, not the OP here. In this case, the photographer did not mention the photos were edited.

I agree. I love photography and enhancing the already natural beauty of things on occasion, but I do believe (at least if its attached to the potential sale of something) that any photo editing should be disclosed.
