Hello. I’m planning to have a baby hognose snake which is unsexed. I have a 18 gallons tank with 25inches length. I’m worry about would it be enough if the snake is female, since the female hognose can be quite long and big. The enclosure will have a lot of driftwood, maybe I’ll try to make 2nd floor, plants and rock too.

An 18 gallon enclosure is fine for a baby/juvenile female.
Adult females will need a 40gal enclosure.
However if you get a male they can comfortably live in that enclosure their whole lives.
What you need to do is get a sexed Hognose snake if you do not want to go through the trouble of figuring it out yourself… the good thing though is that Hognose snakes are typically very easy to sex even right out of the egg. Males will have a significantly longer tail with no taper, females have a short tail that tapers.

If a seller cannot or will not sex a hognose, they should not be selling snakes.
Buying directly from a responsible breeder is the only right choice, and only a snake that’s had a bunch (6+) of consecutive meals of frozen thawed unscented mice.

This is totally correct. I recommend as many as 10 feedings!
