Is she a normal?

Hi folks! New to corn snakes today. I’ve got other snakes/reptiles.

Is this snake normal in coloration? Any idea what she’ll look like as an adult? Thank you!

Hi, welcome to the forum!

So yes, she’s a normal, het for scaleless and palmetto. Palmetto is considered incomplete dominant, so she likely will have a bit of a hypo look as an adult, so a bit brighter/lighter than a normal corn.

Welcome to the community and to corn snake keeping! Sweet little girl there. You’re going to enjoy her I know. I first fell in love with classic corns, and they’re still a favorite thing to see.

What other sorts of reptiles do you have?

Thank you!

We’ve got a male BP, maybe 15 crested geckos right now, two freshwater fish tanks, an axolotl, a salt water fish tank, four spiders and three dogs. :joy:

About 20 years ago, I was breeding cresteds, gargoyles, and all sort of fish….and got out of the hobby to focus on work, then kids….and now getting back into it the last few years.

Safe to say, I’m the “cool mom” and all of the neighborhood kids want to visit our house. lol

Thanks for the welcome!
