I have a 1.5 year old banana pied ball python and he has a very vibrant patch and was wondering if he could be an orange dream. He just shed and is 979 grams. Thanks for looking!!

It’s difficult to id a lot of genes when combined with banana. Do you know the pairing or if od is even possible in the pairing?

I don’t know what the breeding was
He would need to be proved out then. Od cleans up patterns, pied distorts them, banana distorts the color obviously. It’s difficult to even guess

Given bananas can have orange under normal circumstances, I am going to say it probably doesn’t have OD. Adult OD animals I have seen also don’t tend to stay orange. They usually look like clean pastels.
