Is this safe for my ball pythons i love this plant i grew when i was a kid but when i looked it up it didnt give me a clear answer i think its either a painted or dragon nettle when i bought it when i was younger i remember it had a dragon on the little grow cup

Painted nettle is coleus. I love the plant, but it’s toxic to cats and dogs.
If it’s just around the outside of the enclosure it would be fine. But inside your BP will most likely crush it, which would release the irritating oils and may be problematic to your BP as well.

Ok i wasnt sure if it was to snakes to i knew it was to cats if they eat it witch is why its still at my grandpas i dont have a spot the cats wont get ro it and she loves to eat plants and the peace lillys r in the spots where she cant get

I feel for you. I’ve got one plant which I simply can’t get the cats to leave alone. It’s a ponytail palm. It isn’t toxic but it does have rough leaves which irritate their stomachs so they vomit. I have no idea why the cats find this irresistible, but they do.

My moms cats kept trying to eat her cactus lol who knows with them sometimes its just nom nom time with them
