I just did a deep clean of her tank over the weekend and one side of the tank hasn’t been refilled yet because she usually sticks to the right side. But today she has spent her time in the empty side, up against the glass. We thought maybe she wanted a cool spot but seeing as she is pretty skittish, it seemed odd she would choose such a spot. Is this normal or should we be worried it’s a sign of something?

Bioactive is best, and you wouldn’t need to do this. With clean up crew you really just need to clean the glass…
Although yes normal for cresties to sleep in a lot of weird places and positions. You may of stressed the bab out.
It was bioactive before doing the clean. Just waiting on material to arrive in the mail. I did the clean because I put too much rocks and sand in my mix and it was a mess and scratching the glass so I wanted to get all that out and redo the bottom.
