I need help my ball python had orange ish red dots on his urates. Does this call for a vet visit?
Hello there @chadsowner and welcome to the forum! In order to give an educated opinion by myself or anyone else you need to provide some information like the following:
Type and size of enclosure
Temps: hot and cold
Humidity
Substrate
Live or frozen thawed feeding
Size of rodent
Frequency of feeding
Male or female BP
Length of ownership
Pooping regularity
I can’t think of anything else that would be helpful.
The more information we have the better to give an opinion……
Edit: I did see it’s a male. Also a photo of him is necessary if possible……
I agree with @caron also he looks young and I assume he is captive bred, correct? If all your info that hopefully you will provide looks on point, I would suggest 2 things. If he is acting and eating normal wait until he goes again and see how it looks. If not completely normal looking I would do a fecal test from a reptile vet. If he starts acting lethargic or noticeably different definitely take him to the vet right away.
He is eating well he is a year old male
