Its time for babies!

These little guys pipped a few days ago (their egg was cut wider after pipping) and they are finally sticking their little faces out!

They are so darn cute :sob:

I’ll continue to update this post as the others decide to come out, so stay tuned!

Awww little lesser pastels? what else was in the pairing?

The pairing was a Banana Mystic Pastel x Banana Cinnamon Lesser

I’m thinking so at least for the baby in the 1st picture but I know I probably shouldn’t be guessing until they are all out and have had their first sheds :yum:

Hahah, true! Lesser is a little easy to spot though.
That’s a really neat pairing though! I know lesser pewters hatch pretty pink looking, you could always double check for banana with the flashlight trick. :+1:

Welcome to the world little ones! Don’t leave your eggs too soon! Suck up all that good yolk before you venture out into this crazy world! You’re gonna need it! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

1st baby to come out of the egg!

This one is really active too
It took a minute to get a good picture because the baby kept wanting to go! Lol

So far all is good with the others, still taking their time to absorb yolk from the looks of it. This baby got all of its yolk absorbed as can be seen from its cute lil tummy

2nd Update:
All of the babies are out!
All 5 are healthy, and the little one who didn’t absorb all of their yolk has surprised me by being the most active and explorative hatchling out of the clutch
(they aren’t in the picture, my hubby was holding them while he took this picture).

If all continues to go well I will make a post after they all shed for individual photos.

Edit: Heres a photo of them all together!
