Aw man am I ever glad you rescued Izzy! I just can’t stand it when people buy animals and then don’t take proper care of them so they can thrive.

Even my little geckos need special care and attention. Miss Izzy is so blessed to have you! I love her gorgeous green color!:star_struck:

Thank you, i know lots of people take on pets there not willing to put the time and effort into i think i got her at a good time because she was in pretty bad shape, when the man brung it out to my house he was shocked that i had soil in my tank and that blue my other female was a year younger than it, i gave him £120 for her to, he was rehoming a monitor to i was busting to take it just didnt have the room, your lizards r doing great an the viv is looking immaculate i hope you win

I was reading a few articles online although they were old that you can give some male lizards steroids in tiny doses to give them a bit of an edge an im seriously debating wether to crush 1 up as i have some knocking about an just give his food a slight dusting of the testosterone when i move him into temporary tank to try get him going i deff think my two females have stunted his growth with the bullying so im isolating him for at least five months an see if i can give him a bit of a kick start and fill out before he goes back into the main tank, but i would be gutted if i got it sick but im talking about very tiny doses an try it even once an monitor him to see, but i dunno?

Do you have a reptile vet you could ask? I know animals can take some human meds but the dosage has to be calculated per weight of the animal……

And thank you for the compliment on my enclosure but I found better pictures on my phone after I posted it. I don’t expect to win anything. I just posted it for fun.

No not anywhere near me i think i will do a bit more reading up i was reading some breeders do it but they would prob know the correct dosage but i might give it a try just a miniscule amount and monitor it but i dont know could see how it gets on just with lots of nice bugs an plenty vits an calcium first to see if i can perk it up and with it being in its own viv because the females have it a nervous wreck hes been hiding in 1 the cork bark pieces and i have been throwing food in an can hear it eating but its not getting out long enough to bask to properly digest before hes being chased away and now my 2 females are coming into breeding season there gona get even more territorial, ats y i decided not to grow the grass just yet cause the vivs gona get tore pieces they tunnel everywhere lol and no problem i wouldnt worry your pic looked great perfect habitat i love those tanks what you can do with them like we bio active jungles lol
