Just made another hatchling rack

Just made another hatchling rack but this one for our Fantastic employee Jack.
From 18mm (Shelves) and 12mm (Back & Sides) exterior ply routered for heat cable then waxed.

Looks very well put together! Even routered out, that’s a lot of work in itself. Hey by all the awesome egg/hatchling pics you give us I know it will be put to use this season! I’ll expect all those bins filled with excellent ball pythons by December! Great job!

Looks really good. I like the raw wood appearance rather than painting or staining.

What type of heat cable did you use?

Nice rack.
I made one similar recently with what looks like the same size and make tubs but in clear plastic.
Any reason yours are white or don’t you think it matters?
Is the white stronger, better to get them feeding or another reason or just preference?
Just trying to gather information and learn.
(I used heat cable too for tis and the one below at 12ltrs, I would be interested in yours too)
Any advice?
