It was labeled Cali king at petco.

California kingsnake isn’t a morph. It’s a species of kingsnake. (Lampropeltis californiae)

And that ID looks to be correct

As @armiyana Christina stated, this is just a normal/wild type, nothing more nothing less. Cute little Cali king though.

It’s a Wild Type California Kingsnake, we can’t know Locality/Subspecies without lineage information.

Animals coming from big box pet stores, other than visual, are unidentifiable. As @cmsreptiles stated, lineage is needed to identify anything other than what that animal is labeled by that store. If one buys directly from the breeder lineage information is most always available.
