Absolutely a king. Although I’m not well versed enough with kings to tell you if it’s a pure king or a hybrid.

Just curious I’m new to colubrids but how could you tell?

Pattern, color, and head shape are all clear indicators. Once you look at enough of them, it becomes more obvious. Where did you get him? Did the seller not know what species they had?

Here’s a bunch of snow corns, so you can compare:

Honestly i’m embarrassed to say I got him/her from Petsmart. I don’t know why but he was listed as 60 bucks and was also listed as a king snake I think it was a sale. I’m not sure I went there to get substrate for my milk snake, but I just couldn’t help myself. I know I shouldn’t have.:person_facepalming::face_with_peeking_eye:

Also, I checked out your page on MorphMarket and you have some absolutely beautiful snakes I must say. I might have to buy one or two or 100 :joy:. but remember me

So update I went to feed the little baby and his tail was twitching he’s eating great but is that any indicator of his species?

No, that is just a defense mechanism many North Americans colubrids use.
