I’ve noticed more Labyrinths this year. I would like to know more about them. Can someone explain how to tell a visual Labyrinth from other Boas - like a Hypo VPI and others that resemble Labyrinths.
Labyrinths are much like the jungle gene but with a very different super form that thrives. They often have lateral stripes as more dramatic saddles. The morph cleans things up as well as colors things up.
Vpi hypos are a visual recessive and a codominate gene, Labyrinths are their own stand alone gene.
Basically they are jungles on steroids.
So the only way to tell a Labyrinth from the others in the litter is - it is better /cleaner looking and possibly striped?
I like that it is Incomplete dominant
I wish that there was a video of someone comparing the two morphs and what are the identifying hallmarks of the individual morphs. Kind of what Kinova does with Ball pythons. It would be really beneficial. Morphpedia also does not have the morph outlined.
