whats your guys opinions on uvb with leopard geckos? I use uvb with my leopard gecko though its considered optional sense people say it can benefit. (yeah my lighting doesn’t appear good on camera but she has heat lamp and uvb) this is my super hypo tangerine carrot tail leopard gecko named Cosmo’s enclosure

UVB for leopard geckos is a matter of opinion/personal preference I have learned. I do not use it myself. My main concern with my leos is that they get the correct amount of calcium and vitamins. In the wild leopard geckos hide from the sun only coming out at dusk.
But again it’s a personal preference. Just my humble opinion….

My gals are albinos, s o I just subject them to the indirect natural light in my room. UVB would be harsh on their eyes.
If I set up a bioactive and get a non-albino leo in the future? Sure it might be a fun benefit. But over the years most of my geckos are most active as the sun is setting. They’re crepuscular. So only a few may actually use it.
Which for another point… if you do, make sure to use it at the recommended distance and don’t use the high UVB bulbs. You can burn their eyes if you do.
That said, I have nothing against it for those that want to use it. I do not interact with the fanatics that insist you need it or you’re abusing your animal.

yeah that makes sense great opinion 
my leopard gecko tends to come out sometimes during the day when I’m sitting near her then she sits and bask for a bit before the lights turn off but leopard geckos tend to be different so no uvb works good too!

Oh that’s such a good point sense albinos are usually bad with too much light mines not albino but great point for albino geckos
