Something else that stood out to me…

Was this behavior present before you knew he was obviously not well? This is not a behavior that lines up with the traits/morphs your snake carries…

Inclusion Body Disease also lines up with the symptoms you listed, including a wobble and corkscrewing, as it affects the nervous system of Pythons…

No that was not present previously. Everything was going well.

So could his weakness from not eating enough and not drinking cause the corkscrew effect @cmsreptiles ?

Do you keep your other Bps at 88% humidity? Just curious…..

No we don’t. We thought it was odd that the breeder had told us to, but he is the youngest one we’ve ever had. So thought maybe it was because of his age.

I don’t believe so… the virus responsible for IBD directly attacks the nervous system.

I’m not judging you in ANY way but I am questioning the validity of the expertise of the breeder. What is in my mind is that the humidity percentage could have served as a breeding ground for bacteria to collect thus making a toxic environment for the snake. However this is guess on my part as a keeper and not a bio chemist. It may have not one of an iota of a thing to do with your snake’s malaise. I just know that this breeder gave you some erroneous advice…..

Put a hide in its tub with him. It dont got to be fancy he won’t care if its a cheap plastic cardboard box or a high dollar hide. However in my experience the cheap has never failed me yet long as you wash it before putting it into his enclosure.

He dont look dehydrated he dont look like he’s been sitting in a swamp.

HOW OLD IS HE FROM DATE OF HATCH?

Tricks bag him up an take him for a car ride i know it sounds stupid but it works more often then not.

Feed him in total darkness until he gets a few meals in a row down. Their instincts tell them if its light out they could get eaten while trying to eat something else IE mouth is full cant defend themselfs.

What size of enclosure is he in since you got from a breeder im 99% sure he was in a rack until you got him remember in the wild ball pythons live in abandoned Animal burrows so his instincts is telling him he’s not safe if nothing is touching his sides like it would in the wild. Yes as they get bigger they kinda grow out of that but they will always feel most secure when something touches their sides. IE why they are always compacting themself between water bowls an side of enclosures

This works to resolve lethargy and ataxia? (Answer: no, it absolutely does not.)

This isn’t a simple ‘failure to feed’ situation.

I know you mean well by this post Kevin but I believe you have missed the gist of this entire thread. This is a very sick animal and has been for awhile. This little guy is a candidate for euthanasia is there ever was one.

Go back and read the thread from the beginning and you will see that this animal needs way more than just a car ride to help him with anything at this point.
