It’s a way of keeping track of your male, female and unspecified/unsexed animals. The first decimal place refers to how many males, the second decimal place how many females, and the third decimal place is how many unspecified/unsexed animals in whatever group being considered. So, for example, a male/female pair is a 1.1.0, or just a 1.1, and if there’s an unspecified/unsexed animal in the mix, it would be a 1.1.1.

I usually feed my BP first just incase they don’t eat that way the food doesn’t go to waste since the boas never refuse. Their feeding responses are insane. When I first saw that meme I had a good chuckle but its so true.
