Liquid seaweed and worm castings for a ball python bioactive

HI all. As stated in the title, I’m thinking about using liquid seaweed and/or worm castings in my ball python’s bioactive enclosure, and wanted to get opinions or thoughts, if anyone has any experience using these. My enclosure is established, and has been doing well for about a year. Just wanted to give the plants a boost, and help the soil. Thanks in advance for your input. Have a great day.

I use worm castings in all of my bioactive builds and it works great for my plants. I mix in a little bit with the substrate layer.

I’m however unfamiliar with Liquid Seaweed so idk about its effectiveness…

My only concern about the liquid seaweed is going to be the smell. That stuff reeks!! And, related to that, bad smells sometimes attract things you do not want, like Phorid flies  :face_vomiting:

haha, I’ll take your word for it. I think I’ll just add some organic worm casting tea to the enclosure. Seems like it should give the plants a boost, and provide some munchies for the cuc.
