Live feeding switch help

Is there any sort of chance I have to switch a 3 year old ball python to frozen rats?

I tried feeding him frozen 2 weeks after he ate live from where I got him and he looked interested but wouldn’t take

I tried to feed him again 2 weeks later and he seemed a little less interested

I then got a small live and small frozen, fed the live and he took it and then tried to give the frozen and he super avoided it

I wanna try to switch him because I can’t do live feedings, is there anything I could try that might work?

My boy luckily already ate f/t when i got him, but he used to be more picky than he is now, so maybe some of the stuff i did to make him less picky, could help?

Some general tips Ive heard from others:
First of all, make sure the feeder is well-thawed and heated properly, and make sure to feed at night once the snake is awake. Ive heard of people having success using a blowdryer to heat it in the same room as the snake, since the snake can then smell the feeder before you even start trying which might pique its interest.
Another thing that might work, is to brain the rat, which means you cut open the skull to make the feeder smell stronger to the snake.

Personally what really helped my boy be less picky was providing UVA. UVA stimulates the appetite in reptiles, which in some cases really helps picky eaters. Did wonders for mine.

Also; I would avoid trying to feed thawed right after you’ve fed live, as i don’t imagine that would do anything other than confuse him. And make sure to avoid handling him for at least a day before, to make sure he isn’t too stressed.
