Looking promising

Looking very promising. She’s swelling up and getting super light colors. This happened a lot faster this year than it did with her pairings last year. First pic is October, second pic is today.

Thanks! He’s my wife snake. He’s a banana bumblebee specter. His name is Peter Parker.

Interesting… was checking my incubator today, because I’ve been out of town all but one day a week the last couple weeks, and it’s day 46… I’ve got one snake pipped already? I may have missed the female laying by a day or two, but not that severe. I’m even incubating at a lower temp this time. Doing 86 compared to 88-89 last year.

Edited to add: I can’t can’t apparently, looks like she laid 51 days ago. So a pip today isn’t too out there, right?

Usually they hatch around 50-60 days, so pipping on day 51 isn’t all that unusual!

Had a few more pipped and out today. Pulled the light diffuser out and put them back in the incubator but figured I could grab a quick photo beforehand
