Marvel line?

Hey guys!

Hope you’re all doing well!

I’m just wondering if anyone knows anything about the “Marvel Line” which seems to be a scaleless only trait? I can’t really find any information on it at all online other than the place that discovered it. I don’t know if it’s made it’s way over to the States yet but it’s definitely going around here in the UK.

All I know is it seems to create connecting of the dorsal and lateral patterning.

If anyone has any information that would be amazing!

Thanks!

I know Sarah Mohr did a video that talked a bit about them: You've NEVER Heard of some of these "Corn Snake Morphs" ;) Timestamps in Description! - YouTube

Aah I see, I thought it sounded a bit suspicious considering I couldn’t find anything on it besides from the person who “found” it. I was asking for a friend who had bought one of his “Marvel Scaleless” corn snakes :woman_facepalming:t3:

By what ive seen,
The Marvel pattern in the Scaleless corns as been around for ever. Its a locality national occurring pattern known as Phenom. I proved this out a decade ago. The reason he struggled to work out if its recessive, dominant etc is because its just a simple selective mutation. I believe its likely an national occurring Hybridization between corn snakes and the Rosy Rat Snake aka Keys Corn Snake.

It can gives dorsal motling, lateral striping, and can remove a varid amout of the forfard ventral pattern.
