So one of my carpets laid her clutch this morning. I will let her Maternal Incubation these egg’s, But where she laid the eggs are at a 85 Degree spot. Should I be worried that this spot might not be hot enough or will she help with the temps from the shriving ?
yes this is my first time doing a Maternal Incubation.
What is the normal incubation temperature for carpets? It seems like it should be fine as long as it doesn’t get colder
85 to 90 from what i’m seeing in the nick mutton book.
Update she’s doing a good job on this and had fed for me also.
All the best, i havnt done maternal, but i incubate my carpet python eggs at 86 degrees…might take a few days longer but im a low and slow cooker…keep us posted!
