MBK Snake Gender

Is it possible to tell if this MBK snake is a male or female? It’s wriggling really hard so I apologize for the not-so-perfect tail picture.

Thanks for posting! I know most species the males are supposed to have slightly longer tails after the cloaca to keep the hemipines. I really don’t think it is a reliable method to determine sex. You need to pop or probe to be sure in my opinion. Or have someone with experience do this for you. Or you can do a dna sex test, there is one available from MorphMarket , I think it runs $20-$35 and I believe you just send in the shed skin for testing. Pull down the menu on the homepage and you will see “genetic testing” Hope this helps you
