Obligatory, “That’s a snake, not a kitsune.”
Cute little noodle. Love how the decor in the enclosure looks. My fav is the little periscope in the bottom rt of this collage.

Japanese folklore’s cool like that.

Her favorite hide so far is the humid one, which is basically a fancy and specialized bowl with a lid thats designed to look like a rock. She seems to enjoy rough or generally textured surfaces like wood, my blankets, the substrate, and her plants. She also likes kissing my nose and letting me see her yawn when I least expect it, so I almost die every time. Bby python yawns are precious

She is so beautiful! Just about the same size as my little Loch Ness Monster :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I would give you picture tax but I have no good pictures (yet)

That is an undoubtedly wonderful name for a noodle. I love Nessie.

Woke up to get ready for work and she was sitting in her hammock.

she’s about 213 grams now. She lost 11 grams (I last weighed her about two days ago and she was 224)

Edit:
No sign of urates or poop but she might’ve hidden it…
So now I’m a little concerned

11 grams is nothing to be concerned about, she definitely could’ve hidded poop or urates, she may have even buried it under substrate…

My bps do this all the time.

Losing 100’s of grams is where I’d start to be concerned.

Hey guys, could I try like… emailing the store I got her from and asking about where they get the snakes? Or can yall tell me where they get their snakes from? Specifically PetSmart?

You could. There’s a very high chance of getting a BS answer. National chains source largely from wholesalers, which source from nearly anywhere and anyone, depending on the species.

Aw well… ig I’ll wait till she’s one and do a shed test lol. That’d be a good way to celebrate her birthday and mine. My estimated b-day for her is February the 18th since she came to me at 103 grams

To be clear, im saying she was at least a month old when I got her march 18th.

Also, today’s feeding day! Thawing out her nums for later this evening since I didn’t do it early this morning

She dropped a urate inside one of her hides, so yup. I’m just paranoid asf.
I also moved the temps to yalls advice from a separate topic and her max is 90 now with 60-70% humidity
