Oh no, that face is too cute. they look so anxious. Congrats!

White lips are such an awesome species to work with.
How is it for temperament?
I have four of them and they range from curious to defensive. Depending on how close I get. One female just watches me and will bite when I herd her back to her enclosure. Yes, they are given free roam of the room. Supervised. Singly. One of my males starts rattling his tail as soon as he sees movement. All of them hate being interrupted for anything other than food. Even then, if I don’t focus them on prey quickly, the take is angry. Had one that tried to constrict her water as I was pouring. Then look confused as to how “it” escaped.
They seem super aware of their surroundings. Their vision is fantastic. Being an active predator they can easily see well enough to chase food that has been spotted on the other end of the room they’re in. No, I don’t feed live. But I do make them work for it, sometimes. They definitely know what tongs are and what they mean.
Never mind that they are visually stunning, their behavior is enough reason to love them.
I know you’ll enjoy keeping them. I do.
Beautiful. Get more. Hahaha.

Oh wow, that’s hilarious!! :rofl::rofl:

I never knew white lips were such characters, though I’ve admired their beauty for years.

This my first one i noticed when you touch her a little to hard she will go with her head in defensive mode, but i can handle her i feeded her 2 times since i got her i also feed dead prey but she is hard with feeding i have to offer her the same prey like 20 times, and then sometimes when she has it in her mouth she will drop it and leave it laying, like what you said i also need to make her work for prey only when she’s coilled around it good she will then eat it.

Last feeding she coilled around my tongs with her mouse in her mouth

A few of my bps have wrapped around the tongs a few times too! :joy:

Hahaha! I’ve had to leave the tongs a few times. Got pics of it. I have several pairs for that reason.
If I can figure out how to post pics, I will.

My apologies for the vulgarity. I posted the untrimmed version of that photo.

I hope this shot will help me atone for my mistake.
