Here I will be sharing updates on my locality coastal carpet python, Mercury. I originally posted about him in what new reptiles have you gotten lately and will be including some screenshots of posts from there to start this off.
He is so pretty!!!

I must have missed it, but what is he? I can see that he’s a carbides, but what are his genetics? He’s definitely a very pretty individual.

Well he’s technically a cheynei, but he’s a locality from around Rockhampton City in Queensland which is just about the farthest south that you can find jungles, so he looks a lot more like a coastal, but you can slightly see the cheynei genetics. No morphs or line bred traits (other than of course the pure locality aspect), he’s just a beautiful wild type locality.
