I actually really appreciate the heads up of possible linkage even if not yet confirmed as I’m constantly making new project plans. Will be interesting to see though if what they eventually settle on as the monsoon gene is in the same area they were looking a month ago. The report that it maybe took Dave Green longer than expected maybe indicates some linkage if maybe not so tight as to make it nearly impossible. Maybe we need a thread to track mutations on the same chromosome sort of like the allele thread.
