Morelia for beginners

What would you say is the best beginner morelia species? I want to get into morelia once I have my reptile room complete, but I don’t know what to get first. I’m considering all morelia here, I don’t care about temperament with stuff like green tree pythons, I’m willing to put in the work.

I’d say one of the subspecies of Morelia spilota, probably Morelia spilota cheynei as it’s one of the smaller ones and quite polymorphic. These are hardy snakes with pretty reasonable care requirements.

Hands down, the best Morelia species is bredli. This is a practically bomb-proof species and it has the most mellow temperament of all of them. They are also garbage disposals

Wow, that’s pretty. :eyes: :+1:
