Morph help! Just generally curious. He’s just a pet

Curious what people think about this little guy? Any thoughts on morphs?

Appears to be Spider, the little black spots on the heat pits and the stripe under the eye is interesting though, there may be something else going on there.

Just a heads up if you aren’t aware, Spiders typically have a wobble or possible neurological issues.
It shouldn’t effect your little ones quality of life though if it is not severe.
Its just good that your little one will be a pet

Intersting! I was kinda thinking that, but I wasn’t sure what others thought. (fairly new to the BP world) Thanks for the heads up, on the wobble. Definitely aware of the condition, though so far this little one is a good eater, and moves with relative ease.

Wasn’t planning on picking him up, but I can give him a better life than the situation he was in! Couldn’t leave him where I saw him.

I also say Spider.

It’s actually more of an ear than brain thing. They’re finding out that the spider complex causes issues with the inner ear. So when a spider wobbles it can look the same as a snake with actual neurological issues but it’s more of a vertigo like thing.

Some of them have very little wobble. But you’re more likely to see it when the snake is stressed out or is trying to lift their head too high when climbing. They can also get wobble when really excited so feeding time can be another time for it to start.

That’s a cute little feller! @armiyana or @cmsreptiles Could there be a tad bit of calico in that little one too?

@snake9324 It was kind of you to rescue him!

I believe Spiders at least from what I can tell have a similar white wall going up the sides that Calicos do

I could be wrong, but I don’t think this guy has Calico. Spider causes white to come up higher along the sides all on its own.

Single gene spider is my guess, though I’m hardly an expert. Very cute baby.

Ok that makes sense to me. He certainly is a little cutie!

They beat me too it, but also agreeing. Spider can have some really nice white sides in a high expression. Some genes really help bring that out more like adding super pastel.

Calico spiders make some wild white sides on an adult bp. It just looks like someone took a roller down the side

Thank you too Christina! This also makes sense to me! I have become a fan of calico! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Calico was my thought too, makes me wish even more that spider didn’t have issues, because I think a spider calico would be my dream BP!

What a cutie! I love his little face. The marking under his eye is adorable.

Good for you, and good for him, too! Sometimes the happiest results happen than way.
