Cinnamon pinstripe to a normal. Not sure on these. I think the lower one is cinnamon pinstripe and top just pinstripe. But, looking at all the ones listed, there quite a bit of variation. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
Yep agree… cinnamon definitely darkens pinstripe
They are very pretty babies!
With the pattern so wacky with both of them, I’m inclined to think they’re both cinny pins
I’m going to have to agree with @steelserpents on this. Pin is super variable pattern wise and can be tough to id combos. Cinnamon pin is a combo I’m pretty familiar with. The major indicator in identifying cinny in pin is the color change for me. I really don’t think the lighter of the two has the cinnamon gene in my opinion.
I’m still not convinced, the softer head coloration on the lighter one looks much like what you’d see on a cinnamon, along with the pattern… it doesn’t look purely pinstripe to me, comparing to pictures of both pins and cinny pins on Google.
Pinstripe by itself has more of a reduced “drippy” pattern along the sides, with more defined eye stripes — that hatchling has gotta be cinnamon as well imo
Can you post photos of the parents too please.
@saleengrinch does the female look Fire to you? Could that lighter one be Fire pinstripe +/- cinnamon?
I was told she was just a normal.
I was thinking she did yes.
I could see that maybe. But I still don’t think the lighter one has cinny.
So, would possibly have to pair her with a fire to prove her out?
Yes that would be the truest way to find out.
I agree. I can’t find a good photo of my Fire but the headstamp looks like it…
More pictures of the female, hope it helps
In those pictures she doesn’t look as light in coloration. Doesn’t look as much like fire to me.
I have really crappy photos but my proven fire is really dark in comparison.
I would take better but I’m out of state.
I don’t see any doubt in the sires genes. And that other baby is definitely cinny.
