Morph ID for new litter

Heya folks! We recently just had our first litter over here, and as well as simply just showing them off I wanted to ask for some second opinions on morphs.

The pairing was supposedly a IMG, Keywest, DH Kahl snow X Keywest, DH Kahl snow. None of the eight babies ended up being anery or albino, so i’m hoping it was just poor odds but I have a few doubts about both of the parents being double het now, but that is besides the point.

Baby 1 - Normal

Baby 2 - Normal

Baby 3 - Keywest

Will continue in the comments.

Nice looking babies congratulations. You should have gotten at least one albino. Unless they were possible hets and they did not prove out. I would check with the breeder you bought them from as to their genetics. Request pictures of the parents. You should get a albino or sunglow or, better, a snow and breed that to your boas to prove out the albino and anery.

Agree with Tom and I would just go with snow so you get 100% hets if for some reason you dont get any visuals. I would be worried about having sharp in the mix if that did happen. Rare but possible given breeders still figuring it out when the two lines first appeared. They mixed Kahl and Sharp thinking it was compatible and ran into the issue of having unknown genetics. The same holds true with the different types of Anery as well.

Also, you should also have a super in the mix if both keywest. Looks like you might have one because they look more motley rlt ish. Not experienced with keywest so not sure. @tommccarthy maybe you can chime in.

@greenhillsreptiles 7 and 4 are my favorite. Did you get any visuals. If not i would take Toms advice but just save up for a snow. You will get more bang for your buck.

Congrats on the litter. That IMG Keywest (baby 6) is pretty rad. I wonder if that’s a super keywest, or if IMG just boldened the pattern up that much?

Number 6 is a motley

It might be helpful as far as the pattern IDs go to post parent pictures. Looking up super keywest, I’d say Tom is right. Looks like a motley more than a super. Beautiful animal.

I was thinking 3 was keywest motley but pairing doesnt have motley so thought maybe super. I have only seen 1 super key from boaphile.
