Hi all, we recently received our first ball python. When we purchased him, the only identification provided was ‘banana.’
But I am wondering if it’s possible to get a more specific ID on him?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I can’t help with ID (although banana is certainly in there!) but my goodness what did you use to capture those middle 3 pictures?? those are FANTASTIC!

Thank you! Those were taken with a Canon EOS R and a 50mm 1.8 lens.
It’s not too often I see him out and about during the day, so I try to grab nicer photos when I can

Unfortunately though … Boring old photos from the top in indirect sunlight and one from the side would be best for IDing.
If you know what the pairing for the parents were, that could help a ton as banana can sometimes make it difficult to ID some morphs. Offhand though, I’m not seeing anything that says anything aside from banana on this cutie
